Exterior headlight restoration
Mobile headlight restoration
Cloudy, yellowed plastic lenses often have oxidation on their outside surface. We wet sand and polish suitable exterior lenses at your location. The headlights stay on the vehicle.
What it fixes
Exterior haze, surface oxidation and yellowing. It does not repair cracks, internal moisture, damaged reflectors, bulbs, wiring or other mechanical and electrical faults.
The process
Check the lens
We check the exterior lens condition and confirm it's suitable.
Wet sand
We protect the surrounding paint and wet sand the lens surface.
Polish
We polish the exterior lens to improve clarity and appearance.
Final look
We look over the result with you before we leave.
Common questions
How much does it cost?
$50 for both headlights for a limited time, subject to exterior lens suitability.
Can every cloudy headlight be restored?
No. Exterior haze and oxidation are good candidates. Cracks, moisture inside the headlight, or burned reflectors need repair or replacement.
How long does it take?
About an hour per car, depending on condition.
Do you remove the headlights?
No. The headlights stay on the vehicle. We work on the exterior lens only.
Do you come to me?
Yes. BeamSmith is a mobile service for Longwood, Sanford, Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Winter Springs, and nearby Central Florida.
